Boatica Cape Town postponed to 22-24 October 2021

Jul 9, 2020

The annual Boatica Cape Town event was scheduled to take place at the V&A Waterfront from 23-25 October 2020. Due to the increased spread of Covid-19, Messe Frankfurt South Africa has made the decision to postpone the event to 22-24 October 2021

This comes after extensive consultations with event partners and key stakeholders. Messe Frankfurt South Africa takes the safety of its exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and attendees very seriously. “We must acknowledge that these are challenging times all around the globe. As such, it is important for us as trade fair organizers to make the appropriate decision for the safety of everyone involved,” says Joshua Low, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt South Africa.

At present, the Messe Frankfurt South Africa team are considering various options to continue their support for the industry and enable ongoing business interactions. This includes potential opportunities to showcase the local boatbuilders products in 2020, despite not having a physical event.

“We would like to thank our partners, exhibitors and key stakeholders for their ongoing support and look forward to working with the industry towards a successful event in 2021,” finishes Low.
