Boatica Cape Town, previously known as the Cape Town International Boat Show, and Africa’s largest boating exhibition is back. Featuring a display of South Africa's finest boating and yachting brands the event takes place at the V&A Waterfront from 28 - 30 October 2022.

Boatica postponed to October 2022

The annual Boatica Cape Town event was scheduled to take place at the V&A Waterfront from 1-3 October 2021. Due to the uncertainty of lockdown restrictions, Messe Frankfurt South Africa has decided to postpone the event to October 2022.

The annual Boatica Cape Town event was scheduled to take place at the V&A Waterfront from 23-25 October 2020. Due to the increased spread of Covid-19, Messe Frankfurt South Africa has made the decision to postpone the event to 22-24 October 2021

Statement regarding COVID-19 Pandemic, relating to Messe Frankfurt SA 2020 Events

Messe Frankfurt SA is currently monitoring the rapidly evolving situation, with regards to the COVID-19 Pandemic. As ot the 14th March 2020, 61 cases have been identified in SA with no reported deaths. The Department of Health and the NICD (National Institute for Communicable Diseases) have put stringent measures in place to identify and contain the virus. For more information, please visit the South African Deparment of Health’s website at www.health.gov.za, where you will find more detailed information on the current status of the virus in SA, the containment measures that have been put in place by the SA government as well as other information.

The 19th edition of the Cape Town International Boat was held 19-21 October at the V&A waterfront. The Boat Show brought together 7402 visitors over the 3-days to gather, share, and explore the many facets of the boating and related industries.
